Does my shed need to go on a base?

Accepted Answer

Yes, all wooden sheds need to sit on a sturdy, even surface. This could be a concrete base, paving slabs, or timber bearers.

Question 2

Can I choose where my door and window(s) go?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as the world’s most adaptable sheds, you can place doors and windows wherever you prefer during assembly. This does not need pre-selecting.

Your shed will come with tried-and-tested instructions and complementary fixings to make building it a doddle.

Question 3

Can I add more doors to my shed?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can customise your shed with two doors – whether you prefer a tunnel effect or side-by-side entry. Pricing is available upon enquiry.

How can I place an order for a shed?

You can place an order in two convenient ways. Firstly, use our secure online ordering system to browse and select your desired products, adding them to your basket and following the on-screen instructions to complete your purchase. How is the shed delivered?

Your shed/decking kit is delivered on a pallet and unloaded off the delivery vehicle via a tail lift and pallet truck. Therefore the delivery driver will be unable to take it much further than the kerbside, pavement or driveway, depending on access. Where the delivery is made is down to the delivery driver’s discretion.

All deliveries must be signed for unless agreed. If we are unable to deliver but arrived on the day you selected and there is nobody in, or the delivery vehicle is unable to access, then we would have to take the package away and there may be re-delivery charges. For this reason please listen out for the door bell and keep your phone on hand!

Deliveries can be anytime between 08:00-18:00 on the day.

Our Courier

The courier we use are Expect Distribution who are a shareholding founding member of Palletline – a leading national network for palletised consignments. Just to give an overview of the size of their operation:

Typical deliveries are made on either a 26 or 18 ton lorry, however a 12 or 7.5 ton vehicle can be requested if necessary (This may be either size and is depot dependant). The driver makes use of a tail lift and a pallet truck to safely and efficiently transfer the pallet from vehicle to the delivery point. The driver shouldn’t need any assistance during this process.

The Pallet

We use standard UK sized pallets measuring 1200mm x 1000mm while also being 2200mm tall. For our larger sheds, the pallet could be 1200mm x 1500mm, or you may receive two pallets. Each panel is secured in place to the pallet and can be easily removed one by one for maximum convenience.

On the outside of each pallet will be instructions for the shed you’ve purchased while the fixings will be inside one of the panels. Also note if you have purchased a base kit or any extras these will be also be inside the panels to maximise the space used to transport your goods and also to protect them during transit.

Note: Depending on the size of your order, more than one pallet may have to be used (at no extra cost to you).

We recommend calling ahead, as not all trade agents display every building we offer. But you can experience the quality first-hand and order your preferred building in-store.
